Victorian street lights.
Our first glimpse of some of the heritage buildings in the Melbourne CBD.
Stuff like this all over the show.
A modern dandy, reclines on his chair.
Another beautiful old building.
We stumbled upon a spot where there were these strange little bronze castings settled in some seating.
St Patrick’s Cathedral. Gothic as hell.

The fire-brigade headquarters? Whatever it was, there were these wild mosaics on the wall.

The gardens behind the Parliment House. There was this cool little upside down fountain. It was nice and cool on a hot day.
A pole, heralds the beginning of the tiny Melbourne China town.
A slightly more impressive entrance-way.
A cool juxtaposition of the old European style architecture with a dash of the East.
Oh the irony. As a Kiwi, I laugh in the face of this.
The Royal Exhibition Building.
Natalie observes the Carlton Gardens.
The bird watching continues! These guys were noisy.
The backside of the Melbourne Museum. More colourful than a regular backside.
This seagull doesn’t have the right to be looking this majestic. One of his buddies shat on Natalie not long after I took this.
Stunning blue skies, green trees, and pink flowers.
