Ho Chi Minh – Nha Trang – Dalat

Notre Dame Cathedral, the Vietnamese edition.
The bright yellow post office in Ho Chi Minh. It’s yellow.
This tower has some fancy corporate name, but is usually called the Lotus Flower building.
We read a sneaky tip that while there is an observation deck on the 49th (which costs $20 USD each), there’s a cafe on the 51st, which you can get to for free, and enjoy a drink (albeit overpriced). Deal!
The promenade we were to walk along right after leaving the cafe.
Ho Chi Minh Square, right in front of the City Hall Building.
The Saigon Opera House.
Ho Chi Minh City Museum. The building was much more interesting than the contents.
Floor of said interesting building.
Nha Trang Beach (or more specifically: a smaller, less crowded beach north of Nha Trang Beach).
Tran Phu Bridge at dusk.
The view from our room in Nha Trang. The hills and mountains surrounding the town were quite lovely.
The stunning Vietnamese countryside between Nha Trang and Dalat.
Our welcome coffee to our hostel in Dalat. We liked it there.
Traditionally made rice wine, fermenting away.
Crickets for lunch!
I guess people drink this stuff. Probably mostly tourists. We did not.
Dried goods at a Vietnamese mountain market.
They had fresh produce also.
Elephant waterfall, and Natalie.
The underside of the falls.
On the way out, we hung out with some cute puppies. How could we not?

View with Dalat in the distance.
