Wine, wine, and wine (plus some sweet views)

Now this is what I’m talking about!

Many of the wineries feature original buildings.

And beautifully landscaped gardens…

We missed the time of the tour (which includes and example of the traditional “opening the sparkling wine with a sabre” demonstration, it was still cool to see the sabre.

The magic ingredient…

Natalie admires the hanging glasses.

Since I was driving, I opted to skip a full tasting, and instead have a cheeky sample of some brandy.

One of the wineries was super fancy, and had all sorts of sculptures all over the show.

And sweet views.

Many of the wineries were quite frank about how they were built on the backs of slaves, and often had monuments dedicated to them.

My kind of label.
